Power BI Reporting Analyst

As a skilled Power BI Reporting Analyst with strong hands-on experience in SQL and SSIS, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust reporting solutions to ensure high performance, data accuracy, and business alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and analyze reporting requirements by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders. - Design and create custom tables/views using SSIS (ETL) to support reporting and dashboard development. - Develop high-performance datasets using T-SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). - Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. - Deploy reports, databases, and ETL objects to production environments. - Monitor and support production reports/ETL processes, implementing changes as required. - Communicate report designs and data insights effectively to both technical and business teams. - Establish and maintain quality standards to deliver reliable and scalable reporting solutions. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in SQL, including query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with Power BI report and dashboard development. - Solid experience with SSIS and ETL processes. - Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, including fact & dimension tables, star and snowflake schemas. - Experience in production monitoring and support.
