Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description: You will be responsible for system administration, network management, hardware troubleshooting, asset management, problem resolution, technical support, infrastructure management, documentation, reporting, and cybersecurity support. Specifically, your duties will include: - Managing Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. - Overseeing network architecture, firewall, switches, and APs configuration, and resolving connectivity issues. - Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. - Managing IT inventory, handling procurement and disposal, and maintaining updated records. - Diagnosing and resolving system, software, and network issues while conducting root cause analysis. - Providing desktop support and collaborating with teams for smooth IT operations. - Managing resources, integrating new technologies, and Switch & Firewall Management. - Maintaining IT documentation, preparing performance and security reports. - Managing firewall, security protocols, mitigating cyber threats, and supporting audits. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2-3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role is preferred. - Strong understanding of operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Basic understanding of IT assets, software, and hardware management. - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
