About the role
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Krimatix, a product company specializing in enterprise software for industrial clients in the US, you will be responsible for owning quality end to end. We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on QA automation experience, specifically looking for SDETs who take charge of quality rather than just executing predefined test cases. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement end-to-end test strategy, test plans, and risk-based coverage for every release - Conduct manual and exploratory testing for complex workflows, edge cases, and configuration-driven behavior - Develop UI and API automation using Playwright with TypeScript, focusing on long-term reliability - Perform consumer-driven contract testing using Pact JS with integrated broker in CI - Execute performance and load testing using k6, with CI thresholds preventing deployment breaches - Implement accessibility automation using axe-core integrated into Playwright flows - Set up CI/CD quality gates on Azure DevOps to ensure your test suite blocks deployment issues - Conduct RBAC and multi-tenant boundary testing, focusing on authorization negative scenarios and tenant data isolation Qualifications Required: - 57 years of QA automation experience in a product-based or SaaS company - Proficiency in Playwright automation in TypeScript for UI and API layers in production CI pipelines - Real hands-on experience with Pact JS contract testing - Experience with k6 performance testing and setting up CI threshold gates - Ownership of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and quality gates - Strong manual testing and test design skills, including writing test plans - Advantageous to have experience testing metadata-driven, configurable, or rules-engine-based platforms Please note that the role is based in Hyderabad with the opportunity to work from the office, and the project hours are aligned with US time zones.
