Role Description The Power Apps Engineer (35 Years Experience) contract role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and related Power Platform tools. In this remote role, the engineer will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and implement data models, integrations, and automation workflows. Day-to-day tasks include building user-friendly interfaces, optimizing app performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security and compliance within the Power Platform environment. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, document solutions, and contribute to best practices and reusable components. Qualifications Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with exposure to Power Engineering concepts.Knowledge of Power Systems and Electric Power, including system behavior and performance considerations.Understanding of Power Generation principles and related operational contexts.Hands-on experience (35 years) designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI integration).Proficiency in integrating Power Apps with APIs, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other data sources, along with solid data modeling skills.Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, create technical specifications, and deliver secure, scalable solutions.Experience working in remote, agile teams; strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and basic understanding of DevOps practices is an advantage.
