As a QA Automated Tester, you will play a pivotal role in the quality assurance team, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of software products. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, create test plans, define test strategies, and scope. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts using the Selenium framework. - Implementing test scripts for various types of testing for web applications (e.g., functional, regression, performance, smoke). - Executing automated and manual test scripts, analyzing test results, and reporting defects. - Creating and maintaining test data sets required for testing. - Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects using issue tracking systems. - Documenting test cases, scripts, and results. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating test progress and issues. - Conducting performance testing, analyzing system performance, and suggesting improvements. - Staying updated with industry trends and implementing best practices in test automation. Required Skills: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in automated software testing. - Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks using Selenium. - Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Java). - Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker). - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies. Education and Certification: - Bachelor's or associate degree in IT discipline. - ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus. In this role, you will report to the development QA lead, work within an agile team to develop and test applications, design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, assist developers in resolving technical issues, and contribute to the collection and documentation of user requirements and bugs.
