ENGINEERING MANAGER

As the lead of a high-velocity team scaling an embedded finance platform to an enterprise-grade level, your role will involve bridging complex technical architecture with meaningful business growth. You will be responsible for ensuring predictable delivery and long-term system scalability through your architectural leadership, operational rigour, strategic delivery, people development, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Architectural Leadership: Lead in-depth architectural discussions and conduct high-quality code reviews to maintain technical excellence. - Operational Rigour: Master Agile/Scrum methodologies and metrics like Cycle Time, MTTR, and Change Failure Rate to drive high-velocity delivery. - Strategic Delivery: Balance immediate business feature requests with managing technical debt and ensuring long-term platform scalability. - People Development: Establish high-trust relationships, mentor direct reports for promotion, and cultivate a psychologically safe team culture. - Process Optimization: Audit development cycles, identify bottlenecks, and drive efficiency through automation and AI tools.
