About the role
This position is responsible for leading process engineering activities for ceramic manufacturing processes, including feedstock preparation, ceramic injection molding, debinding, sintering, and HIP processes. The successful candidate will drive yield improvement, process capability enhancement, quality control initiatives, and Six Sigma projects while supporting new product introduction and automation programs. The role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure stable and efficient production processes. Bachelor's degree or above in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with ceramic injection molding, debinding, sintering, or related ceramic manufacturing processes is required. Strong knowledge of process control, statistical methods, and manufacturing quality systems. Six Sigma Black Belt certification or project experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality management systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. Good written and spoken English skills. Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Lead yield improvement initiatives and drive first-pass yield enhancement across ceramic forming processes. Drive process capability improvement through process optimization, statistical analysis, and advanced process control methodologies. Establish, monitor, and continuously improve critical process controls, including PFMEA, CTQ, CTP, and process risk management activities. Lead in-process quality improvement programs and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities. Lead and participate in Six Sigma projects to improve productivity, quality, yield, and cost performance. Drive automation initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and process stability. Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement solutions to achieve operational excellence.
As a Staff Engineer in Caps Process Engineering, you will lead yield improvement, productivity enhancement, and process optimization initiatives across ceramic injection molding and related forming processes. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, quality improvement, and manufacturing innovation through advanced process control and continuous improvement methodologies.
