Role Overview: As a Power BI Developer at Kumaran Systems, you will play a crucial role in the data analytics team by leveraging your expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with business stakeholders in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Perform data modeling using Power BI, including relationships, hierarchies, and calculated columns/measures (DAX) - Develop, optimize, and maintain complex DAX calculations and queries - Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs, Excel, etc.) - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization of reports - Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices - Troubleshoot and resolve performance or data-related issues - Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data visualization - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service) - Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling concepts - Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) - Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of reports - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Additional Company Details: Kumaran Systems, established in 1992, is dedicated to engineering future-ready transformations for enterprises.
