Network Support - SAN Switches

In this role at Kyndryl as a SAN switch and SAN router bilingual technical specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Configure and manage SAN switches and routers to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAN switches and routers, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity. - Create work plans, coordinate tasks with relevant stakeholders, draft and review procedures, investigate issues, and execute change implementations. - Monitor the performance of SAN switches and routers, identify and address potential bottlenecks. - Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAN solutions with other network and storage systems. - Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers. - Ensure delivered solutions meet client expectations and are realized within committed time frames. - Establish a quality management system by tracking project milestones, quality, and KPIs. - Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies. As a qualified candidate, you should have: - Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management projects. - Hands-on experience in Routing, Switching, SAN switch, and SAN router. - Strong conceptual clarity on traditional network devices (Router, switch, firewall, load balancer etc), network administration, implementation, and troubleshooting on multiple vendors (Cisco, Vyatta, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto). - Knowledge and understanding of Cloud platforms (IBM, AWS, Azure, GCP). - Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITIL) infrastructure projects. - Ability to handle incidents, problems, and changes effectively. - Strong understanding of IT environments. - Effective communication skills with stakeholders in Japan and India. - Administration knowledge of Linux and Windows with a deep dive into Routing & Switching.
