About the role
Role Overview: As a Project Manager at Kyndryl, you will oversee the delivery of major projects within scope, schedule, and budget. You will be the driving force behind the success of every aspect of a program, acting as the conductor who orchestrates efforts to achieve harmony. Your role will involve being the primary point of contact for the client, embodying Kyndryl's reputation daily. Your calendar will be filled with detailed project plans, team management, leading meetings, status calls, and ensuring the team has the right skills to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end transition programs including KT, service takeover, vendor transitions, and application onboarding/offboarding - Drive transformation initiatives such as core banking upgrades, cloud migration, modernization, and automation - Define and manage program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation - Ensure seamless migration with minimal business disruption for BAU continuity - Manage stakeholders across business, IT, vendors, and senior leadership - Govern risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans - Oversee integration across systems including core banking, payments, channels, and reporting - Ensure compliance with GDPR, CSSF, ECB, AML/KYC, and audit requirements - Lead testing (SIT/UAT), release management, and production cutover - Drive change management, communication, and business adoption Qualification Required: - Strong expertise in large-scale banking transformation & transition programs - 8 - 10 years of experience in Banking IT project/ Program management in banking - Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Temenos T24) and surrounding ecosystems - Proven track record in application transition & transformation programs - Deep understanding of application transition methodologies (KT, reverse KT, service stabilization) - Knowledge of cloud migration strategies (Azure/AWS) and legacy modernization - Experience in integration architecture (APIs, middleware, microservices) - Strong grasp of banking domain (payments, lending, deposits, regulatory reporting) - Expertise in program governance, risk management, and financial control - Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models - Proficiency in tools: JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Project, Clarity, reporting dashboards - Strong understanding of compliance, security, and audit frameworks (GDPR, PSD2) Additional Details of the Company: At Kyndryl, we believe in fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion for all Kyndryls, welcoming individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
