SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant

Technical Requirements (The "Hard" Skills) S/4HANA Architecture: Must have hands-on experience with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and understand the unification of FI and CO. General Ledger (GL): Expertise in New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers (Leading vs. Non-leading for IFRS/Local GAAP), and Period-end Closing Cockpit. Asset Accounting (FI-AA): Mastery of New Asset Accounting in S/4HANA, including technical clearing accounts and multi-valuation ledger integration. Treasury & Cash Management: Configuration of Bank Account Management (BAM) , Cash Flow Analyzer, and Bank Communication Management (BCM). Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR): Deep knowledge of Business Partner (BP) conversion (CVI), Automatic Payment Programs (F110), and Dunning. Controlling (CO): Expertise in Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and specifically S/4HANA Margin Analysis (formerly Account-based CO-PA). Fiori & Reporting: Proficiency in using and configuring Fiori analytical apps and understanding CDS Views for real-time financial reporting. 2. Functional Process Requirements Record-to-Report (R2R): Ability to design the end-to-end financial closing process. Process Transformation: Ability to guide the business from "as-is" legacy processes to "to-be" S/4HANA Best Practices. Treasury Workflows: Setting up approval workflows for bank account openings and payments. Integration: Solid understanding of touchpoints with SD (Sales), MM (Procurement), and PP (Production) to ensure accurate postings to the GL. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in SAP Finance, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield or Brownfield). Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or CPA/Chartered Accountancy is highly preferred. Certifications: SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification is a plus.
