About the role
Role Overview: As the Lead of the Data CoE, you will be a visionary leader bridging the gap between advanced data science and scientific innovation. Your mandate will be world-wide, ensuring that India serves as the global hub for R&I Data, driving operational excellence and breakthrough innovation for all R&I domains. Key Responsibilities: - Orchestrate the WW R&I Data CoE: Ensure alignment of CoE workload with Data Pole needs. Manage current activities and backlog, including priorities. Ensure satisfaction of cross-functional teams across all R&I data domains. Manage vendor partners' performance. - Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to world-class delivery KPIs in terms of activities and SLAs. Encourage the team to propose activities for automation and optimization of data processes to improve efficiency. - CoE for the Hubs: In addition to global activities, involve the CoE team in Hubs data (US, CN, IN), while respecting R&I data governance and processes. Qualification Required: - Education: Bachelors in Engineering / Masters (preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute. - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of leadership in Data & Analytics Consulting, FMCG, Pharma, or Healthcare. - Mandatory Expertise: Data Governance, Data Management, Leadership, Communication. Proficiency in SQL, Power Bi. Knowledge of Python and Power Apps would be appreciated. - Global Exposure: Extensive experience working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or MNC, managing senior global stakeholders and Indian vendor ecosystems. Additional Details: You are: - A Leader: Capable of aligning Data pole needs with CoE capacities. - People Manager: Inspire, guide, and develop diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. - Cross-Cultural Navigator: Thrive in a global matrix, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different geographies. - Strategic Communicator: Conduct communications at different levels of leaders with adapted narratives. - Result-Oriented Leader: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, capable of handling multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
