About the role
Job Description : - BE | BTech| MCA | OR equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field candidates having 8+ year of experience with Banking domain knowledge (solid understanding of core banking processes and channels) - Broad technology understanding across all layers (client/browser, APIs, services, databases, network, IAM, proxies/WAF) Strong hands-on non-functional testing experience across multiple dimensions, including : - Performance & load testing (load/stress/soak, capacity, latency/throughput, scalability, bottleneck analysis) - Resilience & availability testing (failure scenarios, timeouts, retries, fault-injection approaches) - Security testing (test-focused) (OWASP Top 10 understanding, authN/authZ checks, config/header checks, basic DAST/SAST interpretation) - Usability & accessibility quality checks (basic WCAG understanding, accessibility tree awareness, user-flow quality) - Operability & observability fitness (logging/metrics/tracing requirements, alerting fitness, basic SLI/SLO understanding) Automation capability (mandatory, not primary focus) : - Java or TypeScript (Python optional) for utilities, checks, harnesses - Test as Code : versioned, reproducible NFR checks and assets - CI/CD experience integrating NFR checks into pipelines (thresholds, gates, trends) - NFR engineering / requirements analysis : measurable criteria, test design, measurement points, evidence and traceability - Root cause analysis for NFR failures using logs/metrics/traces and code-level reasoning - Jira (Xray) test definition/execution and evidence linking for NFR validation - Temenos (or comparable core banking platforms) - Tools : K6, JMeter (or Gatling), basic OWASP ZAP/Burp; Selenium/Playwright for synthetic checks - Monitoring & observability : Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Tempo/Loki, Splunk, Tableau - Accessibility tooling : axe, Lighthouse; screen reader basics - Regulatory/standards awareness (e.g., DORA/FINMA principles : auditability, resilience, evidence) - Test data management knowledge (anonymized/synthetic, environment constraints) .
