Civil Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to manage and execute construction and infrastructure projects in our dairy processing facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure structural integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient design of buildings, roads, drainage, and utilities in a hygienic and food-safe environment. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning Design: Design layouts and civil infrastructure for dairy plants including production buildings, storage areas, ETP/STP, cold rooms, and utility blocks. Develop site plans that incorporate best practices in food-grade construction, including drainage, non-contaminant flow, and cleanable surfaces. Construction Management: Supervise civil construction activities to ensure timely, safe, and quality execution. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams during civil works and installations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all civil works meet FSSAI, BIS, ISO 22000, and other relevant construction and food safety standards. Manage documentation for building permits, inspections, and compliance reports. Maintenance Upgrades: Evaluate and oversee repairs, renovations, and structural improvements in dairy facilities. Optimize layout and infrastructure to improve material flow and reduce contamination risk. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality teams to integrate civil works with equipment and hygienic requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) 3-7 years of experience in industrial construction; preference given to dairy/FMCG/food processing projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and civil engineering design tools. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food-grade construction norms is a plus.
