About the role
As a Business Intelligence Consultant specializing in Qlik, your role involves working closely with customer specifications to develop solutions in alignment with defined requirements. You will strategize and ideate the solution design, creating prototypes and wireframes before initiating the application or solution development. Key responsibilities include: - Creating load scripts and QVDs to support dashboards. - Developing data models in Qlik Sense to underpin dashboards. - Leading data discovery, assessment, analysis, modeling, and mapping efforts for Qlik dashboards. - Designing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Qlik. - Connecting to various data sources such as MS SQL SERVER, ORACLE, SAP, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence purposes. - Translating data into informative visuals and reports. - Developing, publishing, and scheduling reports according to business requirements. - Implementing application security layer models in Qlik. The skills required for this role encompass a solid understanding of data visualization and data analytics principles, including expertise in user experience and UI design. You should be a hands-on developer with proficiency in Qlik Sense development, adept at writing SQL queries, and possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Qualifications necessary for this position are: - Degree in Computer Science Engineering disciplines or MCA. - 2-4 years of practical experience with Qlik. - Preference for Qlik Sense certification.
