About the role
Role & responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Python and Java. - Build robust backend services, REST APIs, and enterprise-grade solutions. - Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for relational databases. - Work with RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Sybase, or similar databases. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred candidate profile - 8-12 years of experience in enterprise application development. - Strong hands-on experience in Python and Java (both are mandatory). - Excellent knowledge of Core Java, Python programming, and backend development. - Strong expertise in SQL with hands-on experience in MS SQL Server, Sybase, or other RDBMS. - Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). - Experience developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile setting. - Experience with LLM/GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude is an added advantage. - Exposure to Metadata Management or Data Lineage tools is preferred. .
