Engineer, Firmware Development

Design, develop, and debug embedded software and applications for real-time or Linux-based systems. Implement and optimize firmware, working with communication protocols and integrating low-level drivers. Ensure reliable system performance through hands-on debugging and profiling tools. Develop network-enabled embedded products, with an advantage for candidates experienced in wireless protocols, C++, and Linux multithreaded applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. Develop and maintain technical documentation for firmware development projects. Job Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification: B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech. Experience in C/C++ on embedded platforms, with C++ being an added advantage. Hands-on experience in debugging using tools such as Profiling, Valgrind, GDB, KDB, IAR Debugging, and LA. Understanding of low-level drivers such as UART, I2C, SPI, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Highly driven, positive attitude, self-learning, self-motivating, and flexible. Flair for creativity and innovation. Exposure to Metering is an added advantage.
