Engineering Manager - Public Health Engineering (Water & Sanitation Systems)

Engineering Manager To lead Public Health Engineering (PHE) design ensuring sustainable water management, drainage, and sanitation systems integrated with overall building services and codes. SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Design internal and external water supply, drainage, and sewerage systems. Review hydraulic designs, piping layouts, and system schematics. Ensure code compliance with NBC and IS standards. Coordinate with structure, landscape, and architecture teams. Conduct design optimization and review sessions. Provide support for site installation and system validation. SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS Internal Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction Design and Site Teams | Integration with civil and mechanical works Procurement and QA/QC | Material selection and quality adherence External Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction Consultants and Clients | Approvals and design clarifications Vendors and Contractors | Product validation and execution suppor SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Minimum Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Environmental Engineering Language Skills Proficient in English and local language for on-site coordination EXPERIENCE Years of Experience 812 years Nature of Ex. PHE design, water management systems, and infrastructure coordination experience for residential and commercial projects. SECTION VI: TECHNICAL & LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLE SKILLS Technical Skills Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, and rainwater harvesting systems Familiarity with NBC and IS standards for plumbing Leadership / Behavioural Skills Team Leadership and Coordination / Execution Planning and Problem Solving / Communication and Negotiation .
