Senior Sap Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancements across Electronics / Manufacturing business functions Conduct business requirement gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and solution design Configure SAP modules based on business needs and industry best practices Prepare functional specifications (FS) and collaborate with ABAP / technical teams for developments Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities Act as functional project lead, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrator partners Ensure integration across SAP modules and with external systems (PLM, MES, third-party tools) Support L2/L3 production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure adherence to documentation standards, internal controls, audit, and compliance requirements Electronics & Manufacturing Domain Responsibilities Understand and map Electronics manufacturing processes including: • Engineering and product lifecycle management • Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, and variants • Production planning, MRP, and capacity planning • Quality management, traceability, and compliance • Inventory, warehouse, and logistics processes Translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable SAP solutions SAP Module Expertise (Any / Combination of Below) SAP MM Materials Management SAP PP – Production Planning SAP QM – Quality Management SAP SD – Sales & Distribution SAP FI/CO – Integration understanding preferred Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline 10-12 years of hands-on SAP Functional Consulting experience Experience in minimum 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects Strong exposure to Electronics / Hi-Tech / Discrete Manufacturing domain Proven experience in project coordination or functional project leadership Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
