Highspeed PCB Design using Altium designer • Excellent understanding of ECAD design tools, specifically Altium. • In-depth knowledge of PCB design requiring differential pairs, high speed, controlled impedance, and high power. • Strong understanding of PCB design considerations for EMI/EMC, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), thermal management, and safety. • Experience with processor and BGA-based designs. • Comprehensive understanding of IPC standards. • Proficient knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment Perform placement and routing of PCBs for engineering review using Altium Prepare PCB routing layout for engineering review Prepare PCB manufacturing data for use in PCB fabrication Generate accurate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing artwork using Valor and Blueprint PCB Drive evolution of corporate PCB design standards by keeping current on underlying PCB materials technology, fabrication and assembly processes and their application in new products. Conduct design feasibility studies to identify layout-related trade-offs on packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance for the engineering design team. Own the responsibility of final design packages which include output file checks and the generation of fabrication and assembly documentation Build and maintain part libraries following the defined processes, ensuring they are complete and correct.
