Roles And Responsibilities - ECN & BOM Management Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and ensure timely implementation in production Update and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP/PLM systems Verify part numbers, revisions, and change details before release Coordinate with design, production, quality, and planning teams for ECN closure Ensure proper version control and documentation of BOM and ECN records Analyze impact of changes on inventory, production, and customers Track ECN status and ensure effective communication to all stakeholders Support NPI by creating and validating BOM structures Avoid material mix-ups by ensuring correct revision control Maintain traceability of changes for audit and compliance requirements Support audits and ensure documentation readiness Drive continuous improvement in ECN and BOM management processes
