About the role
As a Senior Structural Design Engineer at LNT in the Buildings & Factories division based in Chennai Head Quarters, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Analyzing and designing RCC and steel structures with a focus on structural engineering and structural analysis. - Developing structural models using STAAD Pro and carrying out detailed RCC design using RCDC. - Conducting steel building analysis and basic connection design. - Preparing quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering and execution stages to ensure cost-effective and constructible solutions. - Reviewing drawings and design reports to deliver optimized, safe, and code-compliant structural designs within project timelines. - Creating quality compliance documents and reviewing vendor designs and drawings when necessary. - Demonstrating strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to design to ensure quality and accuracy. - Committing to continuous learning and staying updated with industry standards to enhance your skills and knowledge. Qualifications required for this role: - Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) in Structural Engineering.
