About the role
We're Hiring: Turbine & Hot Gas Path Aero Engineer Full time | Core team LAT Aerospace | Gas Turbine Engines At LAT Aerospace, we're building India's first clean-sheet hybrid-electric STOL aircraft and a next-generation family of gas-turbine engines. We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of turbine aerodynamics: covering design, CFD, testing support, and hot-section performance. What You'll Do Design, test, and evaluate- Aerodynamic design and analysis of turbine components. Mean-Line & Quasi-3D Aerodesign – Use mean-line, through-flow, and blade-to-blade tools to generate first-cut turbine designs. High-Fidelity CFD Analysis – Build and execute high-fidelity 3D CFD simulations to assess turbine performance. Blade Geometry Optimisation – Perform blade shape optimisation to meet aero and structural targets. Hot-Section Interpretation – Understand how combustor exit conditions, pattern factor, and temperature non-uniformity influence turbine life, stresses, and performance. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with focus on turbomachinery, aerodynamics, or thermal sciences 3+ years of experience in turbine aerodynamics or hot-gas-path work Strong understanding of turbomachinery aerodynamics, loss modelling, and flow physics. Advanced proficiency in 3D CFD (CFX) for turbomachinery flow analysis and performance evaluation. Strong capability in mean-line/throughflow/2D blade analyses Experience in blade shape optimization Solid foundation in heat transfer , compressible-flow physics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Proficient in using CAD software (NX or equivalent). Why LAT Core team opportunity at a high-conviction deep-tech startup Build India's next-generation GTEs - the kind that India has never seen before Work in an environment where hardware development moves fast, ownership is high, and engineering matters
