About the role
As a Technical Project / Program Manager with 1215 years of experience in IT and a strong development background in Java, .NET, or Python, your role will involve leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects and programs. You will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent workstreams across different teams, including engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and business. Your duties will include driving project planning, estimation, execution tracking, risk management, and delivery governance. You will collaborate with engineering teams on architecture discussions, technical dependencies, and solution planning, translating business requirements into actionable engineering deliverables. Monitoring project health, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery quality will be crucial, as well as identifying and mitigating delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies proactively. Ensuring adherence to SDLC processes, agile methodologies, and engineering best practices is essential, along with facilitating stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updates. You will also drive sprint planning, release management, and cross-functional coordination, supporting teams in resolving technical and operational challenges during project execution, and establishing delivery metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices. Qualifications Required: - 1215 years of overall IT experience with significant project/program management experience - Strong prior hands-on software development experience in Java, .NET, or Python - Transition from engineering/development into delivery leadership roles - Understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise application development - Experience managing large-scale engineering programs and distributed teams - Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies - Stakeholder management and executive communication skills - Ability to manage technical discussions with architects and engineering teams - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities - Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in enterprise digital transformation programs - Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as Azure or AWS - Understanding of AI/ML or data-driven platforms is a plus - PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications preferred - Experience managing global delivery teams and client-facing engagements As a Technical Project / Program Manager with 1215 years of experience in IT and a strong development background in Java, .NET, or Python, your role will involve leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects and programs.
