About the role
Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Analyst – Data Science with strong skills in predictive modeling and statistical analysis, particularly in the Automotive industry . The role focuses on building and validating risk and finance-related models, working with large-scale data, and delivering actionable insights to global automotive clients. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with direct client-facing responsibilities. Experience: 3 to 6 years Work Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Key Responsibilities Build, validate, and document ML predictive models for automotive risk and finance use cases. Execute data extraction and transformation using SQL . Apply statistical modeling, regression techniques, and machine learning algorithms to solve automotive industry challenges. Interpret model inputs/outputs and provide insights into vehicle performance, risk, and financial forecasting. Challenge traditional automotive finance models using advanced data science approaches. Work independently with clients and present results effectively. Required Skills & Expertise 3–5 years of experience in Data Science / Predictive Analytics . Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL . Experience with ML/statistical modeling, regression analysis, and validation . Automotive domain knowledge – familiarity with risk modeling, vehicle lifecycle analytics, warranty/claims analysis, or customer/finance-related insights. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage. Good knowledge of Power BI, R, Excel preferred. Strong communication and client interaction skills.
