Profile: Senior Field Applications Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 5+ Years Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Industry: Semiconductor/EV/Automotive How to Apply: [HIDDEN TEXT] or 8130732507 Profile Summary: Field application engineers will provide technical support to R&D-centric companies to aid Design-IN of products or solutions to drive revenue growth. This role involves travelling to various locations to collaborate with customer engineers for designing and developing solutions using the company's products. Major KRA -Evaluate customer system requirements and provide technical support using company products. -Formulate product specifications as per customer needs. -Troubleshoot system boards on request and resolve engineering issues at product/design/validation levels with regular follow-up. -Collaborate with the sales team and distribution network to gather accurate information on application TAM & SAM, system requirements, and competition data. -Work closely with Alpha Customers to validate solutions developed by the Design Centre, and promote them to multiple customers. -Prepare technical proposals such as application block diagrams and critical part lists to support the sales team. -Provide technical training on product families and solution proposals tailored to specific applications. -Design training materials and assist in delivering technical field training to customers and sales channels. -Demonstrate products during Customer Tech Days, open forums, seminars, and exhibitions. Areas of Expertise -Industrial & Automotive Applications -High-power devices (MOSFETs, IGBT, Diodes, SiC, GaN) – selection and technical application insight -Analog circuit design, gate driver selection and application insight -Power topologies: Buck/Boost, Flyback, Buck-Boost, Totem Pole PFC, three-level Inverter -PCB design and review for noise immunity, component trade-offs, EMI compliance -Thermal design knowledge – process, materials, and their circuit impact
