Position- Precast Incharge Role & responsibilities To ensure completion of Project in time. To ensure compliance with quality specification and ISO procedures. To ensure cost compliance within budget and improved margins. To ensure compliance with safety manual and safety action plan specific to the project. To motivate staff and develop the team. To maintain good relations with local bodies and surrounding community Preferred candidate profile Graduate in B.tech/ B.E (Civil) with 17- 25 yrs exp and 8 -10 yrs experience in Highrise, & Institutional Position: Precast In-charge (Addl GM/ GM) Project: Precast-based Commercial & Hotel Development Location: Navi Mumbai Role Objective The Precast In-charge will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of precast construction , with a strong focus on erection methodology, sequencing, vendor finalisation, and erection team mobilisation to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project delivery. Key Deliverables & Responsibilities Precast Construction Planning & Methodology Develop and finalize detailed precast construction and erection methodologies, including lifting plans, sequencing, interface management with in-situ works, and optimisation of cycle times. Precast Erection Management (Critical Accountability) Lead and control all precast erection activities including columns, beams, slabs, faade and architectural precast elements; ensure productivity, stability, alignment, and adherence to approved erection schemes. Vendor Sourcing & Finalisation Identify, evaluate, and finalise precast manufacturers, transporters, crane agencies, and erection subcontractors; negotiate scope, commercials, timelines, and performance KPIs. Erection Team Mobilisation & Control Source, deploy, and manage skilled precast erection teams, supervisors, riggers, and crane operators; ensure optimal manpower deployment and discipline on site. Coordination & Interface Management Coordinate closely with design, planning, QA/QC, MEP, and civil teams to resolve interface issues between precast and in-situ construction, ensuring smooth execution without rework. Quality Assurance & Tolerance Control Ensure compliance with approved drawings, erection tolerances, connection details, grouting, and finishing standards; close snags and punch points related to precast works. Safety & Risk Management Implement stringent HSE controls for heavy lifting, working at height, and crane operations; ensure compliance with safety procedures, lifting permits, and risk assessments. Progress Monitoring & Reporting Track erection progress against planned targets; identify bottlenecks and implement recovery actions to meet milestone commitments. Candidate Profile Qualification: BE/ Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Experience: 18-25+ years overall in building construction Minimum 57 years in senior leadership role handling precast projects from contractors side. Mandatory exposure to precast erection-heavy projects (not only plant or design) Mandatory Expertise: Precast erection planning & execution Crane selection, lifting studies & sequencing Vendor and subcontractor management Preferred Exposure: Large commercial/ hospitality projects using structural and architectural precast systems. Joining Preference: Immediate to 30 days Key Competencies Strong execution mindset with site leadership capability. Deep understanding of precast systems, tolerances, and connections. Ability to work with tight timelines and complex interfaces. Proactive problem-solving and coordination skills.
