As a Freelance AEM Front-End Lead Developer, your role will involve architecting, leading, and delivering modern, scalable, and high-performance digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites & Edge). You will work on enterprise-scale projects and collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - Lead front-end architecture and implementation for enterprise AEM Sites and Edge projects. - Design and develop scalable AEM front-end components using HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Angular. - Define reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, and enterprise design systems. - Architect and manage AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs), dependencies, embeds, categories, and proxy configurations. - Implement Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Edge Delivery Services, and Headless CMS architectures. - Collaborate with backend teams on Sling Models, GraphQL APIs, REST APIs, and content delivery frameworks. - Drive accessibility compliance (WCAG), performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements. - Mentor developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and best-practice implementation. - Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate design assets into production-ready interfaces. - Troubleshoot complex issues related to ClientLibs, caching, CDN behavior, responsive rendering, and browser compatibility. - Support CI/CD deployments using Adobe Cloud Manager, Git, Jenkins, and modern build tools. - Leverage coding assistants to improve development productivity. Preferred Candidates for this role should possess certifications in Adobe Experience Manager, Front-End Architecture, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
