About the role
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a deep understanding of the system and software architecture Write, deploy, and maintain production-grade C# desktop applications Mentor junior team members and elevate engineering standards across the team Translate abstract problem statements into concrete requirements through collaborative design discussions Build software that controls and interfaces with non-compute mechanical hardware. Requirements REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience as a System/Software Engineer with prior experience in hardware automation or instrumentation [Mandatory] Proficiency in writing, deploying, and maintaining production code in C# [Mandatory] Strong OOP skills design patterns, data structures & algorithms, distributed systems, multi-threaded and multi-process programming [Mandatory] Experience in developing applications for Desktops WPF / WCF experience [Added Advantage] Familiarity with cross-language interface protocols such as CORBA, Apache Thrift, gRPC, or similar technologies [Added Advantage] Ability to take abstract problem statements and detail them into concrete requirements through collaborative discussions Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to contribute individually Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field What Will Make You Stand Out A passion and demonstrated track record of creating software that controls and manipulates real-life hardware.
