Desired Experience Hyperscale data center projects. Colocation and enterprise data center developments. Greenfield and brownfield project delivery. Commissioning and operational readiness activities. International project delivery environments. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, or related field. Professional engineering or chartered qualification preferred. 15+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities, data centers, or large infrastructure projects. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams. Strong understanding of data center critical systems and design principles. Develop and manage data center design strategies, standards, and technical solutions. Ensure designs meet Tier, uptime, capacity, reliability, and sustainability requirements. Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, security, and ICT systems. Project Management Manage design schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation. Track design progress and resolve technical issues impacting project delivery. Support project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications. Ensure design activities align with project milestones and construction requirements. Technical Coordination Review and approve design documents, calculations, specifications, and drawings. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering workshops. Oversee integration of critical infrastructure, including: Power distribution systems UPS systems Generators and fuel systems HVAC and cooling systems Fire detection and suppression systems Building Management Systems (BMS) Security systems Network and telecommunications infrastructure Stakeholder Management Act as the primary design interface between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Facilitate technical workshops and design review meetings. Present design solutions, project updates, and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership and clients. Compliance and Quality Assurance Implement quality assurance processes and design governance controls. Sustainability and Innovation Drive energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions. Support low PUE objectives, renewable energy integration, and carbon reduction initiatives. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices.
