About the role
As a full-time Senior People Analytics Specialist at Lenovo Global People Analytics team in Bangalore, your primary focus will be on building advanced analytics capabilities, driving automation, and enhancing operational efficiency across HR data and reporting processes. You will collaborate closely with HR and cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions, predictive insights, and automated workflows to facilitate decision-making and reduce manual effort. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics solutions such as predictive models (e.g., attrition risk, workforce segmentation) using structured analytical approaches - Working hands-on with large, real-time datasets and demonstrating strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data manipulation techniques - Utilizing statistical analysis and data modeling techniques like regression, classification, clustering, and hypothesis testing - Automating reporting and analytics workflows using Python scripting, workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate), or similar automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort - Building scalable data pipelines, working with databases (e.g., MS SQL Server), and gaining exposure to ETL processes - Participating in the end-to-end analytics lifecycle from data extraction to ongoing optimization, structuring analytical problems, identifying key variables, and deriving meaningful insights from data - Independently managing multiple priorities, driving analytical solutions from concept to execution, and improving operational efficiency through automation and process optimization - Enhancing your problem-solving skills, adapting quickly to new tools and technologies, and communicating analytical outputs effectively to internal stakeholders - Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement within the analytics function Your qualifications should include: - Educational background: MBA/MTech/MSC in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Mining, Econometrics, or related fields - Experience: 3 to 6 years of related experience, with HR domain experience being a plus - Technical skills: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL, Power BI, statistical and analytical skills (regression, classification, clustering, hypothesis testing), and Power Automate or equivalent workflow tools In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities to drive impactful decision-making and automation within the global People Analytics team at Lenovo.
