We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team focusing on cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD for an automotive systems.

What you will be doing:

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, resilient AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.

CI/CD Pipelines: Building and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery while safeguarding quality.

Cross Functional Collaboration: Working alongside software, electronics, systems, and safety teams to support comprehensive system requirements and functionality.

Security & Reliability: Applying security, encryption, and observability best practices to help protect sensitive data and keep systems resilient.

Testing & Validation: Validating infrastructure and deployments to meet high performance and quality standards.

What you’ll need to be successful:

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience building and administering Linux systems, particularly Ubuntu, including shell scripting, package management, and basic system hardening.

Understanding of security best practices, including secrets management, least-privilege access control, and vulnerability management.

Familiarity with encryption in transit and at rest, including TLS, key management services (KMS), and certificate management.

Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS (compute, networking, storage, and IAM) (or similar, e.g. Google Cloud, Azure).

Experience with Docker containers.

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (or similar, e.g. CloudFormation or Pulumi).

Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions (or similar).

Scripting abilities in Python and Bash.

Proficiency with revision control tools such as Git.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Product Development Knowledge:

Understanding of the software development life cycle and DevOps practices such as automation, monitoring, logging, and observability.

Interest in building and maintaining automated, repeatable deployment and infrastructure workflows.

Collaboration & Professional Growth:

Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and to grow toward greater technical ownership over time.

Contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture through ongoing skill development and knowledge sharing.

Communicate clearly and work effectively with teammates across software, electronics, systems, and safety teams.

System Requirements Engineering

Use appropriate methods and tools to help translate stakeholders’ needs into verifiable requirements.

Support the definition of acceptance criteria through analysis and collaboration.

Track the status of requirements throughout the system lifecycle.

Systems Thinking

Understand the boundaries of the system of interest, its context within its environment, and its interfaces.

Analyze linkages and interactions between the elements that comprise the system using appropriate methods and models.

Understand the system, predict its behavior, and support modifications to produce desired effects.

Additional Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with Kubernetes.

Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible (or similar, e.g. Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).

Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK/OpenSearch stack, or AWS CloudWatch.

Exposure to secrets-management tooling such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.

Experience with networking fundamentals such as DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.

An AWS certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate), or similar.
