Overview: - We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Administrator to join our team - The SAS Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software environments - This role requires a detail-oriented professional with robust technical expertise in SAS and a deep understanding of system performance optimization and data security Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain SAS software, including SAS servers, clients, and third-party components - Configure and manage SAS metadata, user permissions, and authentication protocols - Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and hotfixes - Manage backup and recovery processes for SAS environments - Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly - Provide technical support to SAS users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAS applications and data - Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and technical staff - Ensure that SAS environments comply with organizational security policies and standards - Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information - Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities - Monitor system performance and resource usage, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks - Optimize SAS processes and workflows to improve efficiency and performance - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAS with other systems and applications - Work closely with data analysts, statisticians, and business users to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions .
