Position: SAP GL Consultant (Offshore – India) Experience: 6 - 10 Years Notice Period: Can be considered up 15 Days SAP GL Consultant (Offshore – India) Location: India (Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai) Shift: Offshore with PST overlap Experience: 6–10 years SAP FI with strong GL expertise Role Summary The SAP GL Consultant will support global finance teams with configuration, issue resolution, enhancements, and month‑end close activities across SAP S/4HANA or ECC GL processes. Key Responsibilities Configure and support GL master data, posting rules, validations/substitutions, and financial close processes. Work with Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers, document splitting, and currency types. Provide offshore support for month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Troubleshoot GL posting issues, integration errors, and cross‑module impacts. Prepare functional specs for enhancements and collaborate with ABAP teams. Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production deployments. Work closely with onsite U.S. teams for daily support and project deliverables. Required Skills Strong SAP FI‑GL configuration experience. Good understanding of integration with AP, AR, AA, CO, MM, SD. Experience in issue analysis, debugging, and root‑cause identification. Excellent communication for onsite–offshore coordination.
