Senior Developer - Android

We are looking to hire an Android Technical Lead who can work on key products for Letsgomo Labs and its customers. What you should have: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or other streams from premier institutes) or an MCA. 2-5 years of experience working as a software engineer, including 2 years developing Android applications. Mastery in Android SDK, Java and multithreaded programming. Experience architecting medium to large software projects from start to finish. Proven experience building high quality, mobile applications using the latest technologies. (provide urls) Experience working with REST APIs, SQLite or similar Databases, Push Notifications, In-App Purchase etc Experience working within a team; you know how to make your point heard, and hear what other people have to say as well. Strong problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment. A true love and appreciation for impeccable design and simple UI. You might not be a Designer, but you are focused on beautiful UI for Android. Good to have Skills Some experience of iOS or Windows Phone development Experience of leading small teams will be a plus Experience writing automated units and application tests. Experience with social media APIs, popular third party libraries and SDKs Role and responsibility: Deliver across the entire app life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support Write code to the highest standards while adhering to industry accepted architecture and design pattern techniques and methodologies (e.g., MVC, SOA, OOP, DI etc.). To lead team/ s of 5-10 mobile developers across one or multiple projects. Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and realise products Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
