Role Overview: At Levi Strauss & Co., we are seeking a Technical Engineering Lead to join our Digital and Technology Engineering team. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in transforming the retail experience through cutting-edge technology, particularly by developing RFID-driven systems to enhance visibility, accuracy, and operational efficiency in retail stores. Key Responsibilities: - Offer technical expertise and thought leadership to support the company's strategy and transformation into a world-class retailer. - Collaborate with Product teams and engineers to design applications that improve consumer experiences and increase revenue. - Communicate complex technical issues and solutions in clear, business-friendly language. - Lead a team of developers, hardware integrators, and cloud engineers to design scalable solutions for tracking inventory, automating store processes, and providing real-time insights using RFID technology. - Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions, Microservices, and other services for highly available systems using public Cloud (GCP). - Develop high-quality code following best practices and a test-driven development approach. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, approach, and architecture, contributing to the team's repository of best practices and reusable solutions. - Guide automated/self-service solutions to decrease incident resolution times for customers. - Participate in peer code reviews, test solutions thoroughly, and ensure adherence to best practices and project requirements. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum or Kanban. Qualifications: - Previous experience in the Retail or ecommerce domain working with cross-functional teams. - Experience with GCP is preferred. - Exposure to RFID technology or inventory modules is a plus. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Full Stack Development. - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
