Senior Engineer - Design (Product Technology)

Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for creating 3D Models, 2D Drawings & Bill of Material for components of Tower Cranes Work according to Standards, design codes and software tools assigned Responsible for development of sub-assemblies, components of tower crane Independently review & check all inputs received before the design activity started Responsible for timely and quality delivery of Engineering outputs in accordance with established schedules. Adherence to deadline and cost targets in the area of component design Co-ordination with Cross Functional Team (local & global) as per the requirement of Project Value engineering, Optimization and further development of existing designs Planning and co-supervision of associated tests in close coordination with the respective specialist departments Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications Qualification and Education Requirements: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical). Experience: Industry exposure of 7-9 years, preferably in industry similar to tower cranes or heavy fabrication. Must have Experienced Creo Parametric or with another parametric tool. Should have experience in any PLM system like Windchill. Preferred Skills / Special Skills: High affinity for construction / design of steelwork / mechanical parts as well as creating drawings and Bill of Material. Should have knowledge of Creo Parametric esp. Top-Down Approach. Strong engineering basic knowledge of GD & T, Fabrication & Welding process. Problem Solving: Ability to work cooperatively through issues. Structured, solution-oriented and analytical approach towards job. Target-oriented, independent & flexible way of working with teamwork.
