About the role
Virtual Infrastructure Architect
The Virtual Infrastructure Architect designs, provides implementation guidance, and optimization recommendations for enterprise virtual environments to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance. This role provides technical leadership for virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Azure/AWS/GCP), storage, and compute architecture, while partnering with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business and clinical/mission‑critical systems. The architect establishes standards, leads modernization efforts, and guides troubleshooting and capacity planning across the virtual infrastructure ecosystem.
