Engineer - Design, Junior

Job Title : Assistant Design Engineer

The purpose of the position is to d evelop Product Design concepts and complete CAD models and 2D Drawings with support from Product Design Engineer.

Performance Expectations

Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:

McLaren Asia Engineering Management System (EMS).

Maintain and implement department 5S requirements.

Complete 3D modeling and 2D drawings of products or fixtures, read CAE analysis data and write related reports under the guidance of design engineer.

Participate in benchmarking & product development activities and assist in the work of measuring, tear-down and record etc.

Maintain administration of CAD data transfer with third parties.

Observe and adhere to company’s data protection policy ensuring the security and integrity of any personal or confidential information you may work with while carrying out your duties.

Observe company policy on flexibility by moving to any other job as necessary.

Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Credentials

Bachelor degree, in mechanical / material / engineering or equivalent.

At least 1 year experience in mechanical industry or automotive industry.

Workable with at least one CAD design software: CATIA/SolidWorks. 4.3 Basic knowledge of engineering drawing and mechanics.

Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

English written & oral communication skill is a plus.
