Job Description Manual QA Tester Position: Manual QA Tester Experience: 3+ Years Employment Type: Full-time (Dedicated Resource) Availability: Daily Engagement About The Role We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our applications by performing comprehensive manual testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Perform daily functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing before production releases.Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.Provide regular updates on product quality, testing progress, potential risks, and release blockers.Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.Support QA activities for both existing products and new feature development.Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards before release. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing.Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar).Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and defect reports.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience testing web and mobile applications.Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman is an added advantage.
