AEM Front Backend Developer

You are an experienced Senior AEM Backend Developer with over 5 years of experience, seeking a full-time remote opportunity with a leading client in the Healthcare & Research domain represented by Nemours Organization in India. You will be working in the US Eastern Time zone with flexible hours. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in AEM - Build and customize AEM components, workflows, services, and APIs - Integrate AEM with external systems and third-party applications - Develop reusable Java-based services using Sling Models, OSGi, and JCR - Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams - Optimize application performance, caching, and security configurations - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability Required Skills: - Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) - Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Servlets - Hands-on experience with AEM Workflows, MSM, Dispatcher, and CRXDE - Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services - Strong understanding of AEM Core Components and Editable Templates - Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines - Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments is a plus - Knowledge of caching, CDN strategies, and performance optimization - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
