Data Engineer SQL - Remote

Job Description: As a Data Engineer in this 6-month contractual role with our global client, you will be responsible for hands-on Data Engineering tasks. Your primary focus will be on Ab Initio development and ETL solutions, building and maintaining complex data integration pipelines, and working with Data Fabric architectures and enterprise data platforms. Your strong SQL and data modeling skills will be essential in troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production data workflows. You will collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful data engineering outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your 5-12 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience to develop and maintain Ab Initio solutions and ETL pipelines - Build and maintain complex data integration pipelines - Work with Data Fabric architectures and enterprise data platforms - Apply strong SQL and data modeling skills to optimize production data workflows - Collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders to achieve data engineering goals Qualifications Required: - 5-12 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience - Strong experience with Ab Initio development and ETL solutions - Expertise in building and maintaining complex data integration pipelines - Experience working with Data Fabric architectures and enterprise data platforms - Strong SQL and data modeling skills - Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support production data workflows - Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders Additional Details: This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with one of our global clients for a 6-month contractual period. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks are preferred skills. Experience in large enterprise environments will be beneficial for this position.
