About the role
As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on network technologies and datacenter management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and coordinating datacenter moves, migrations, and implementation projects. - Ensuring compliance with network and security standards, as well as risk management frameworks. - Architecting and engineering LAN and WAN solutions with a focus on high availability and mission-critical applications and services. - Implementing WAN and LAN networks to guarantee optimal performance and reliability. - Providing technical expertise in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and IPv6. - Designing and implementing VPN solutions across global WAN backbones and distributed datacenter platforms. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience in IT infrastructure project management, particularly in network technologies. - Strong understanding of datacenter technologies and prior experience in datacenter moves, migrations, and implementations. - In-depth knowledge of network and security compliance standards and risk management frameworks. - Proficiency in architecting and engineering LAN and WAN solutions. - Technical expertise in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and IPv6. - Experience in implementing WAN and LAN networks for mission-critical, highly available applications and services. Preferred qualifications for this position may include: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification. - Experience with cloud networking technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
