Lead Backend Engineer (Java, Kotlin)

As a Lead Backend Engineer at Avensys, you will be responsible for taking ideas for new systems, major feature sets, or product themes and driving the architecture and implementation while organizing the team to deliver the te. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Kotlin with good Leadership skills and willingness to work as Individual Contributor. - Minimum of 2 years working as a Lead level. - Product based industry experience is a MUST. To succeed in this role, you will need: - Overall experience of 10+ years in software engineering roles. - Proven hands-on experience, Experience with owning production services with significant impact on design, development, deployment, monitoring & evolution. - Curiosity, staying abreast on technological improvements and open-source advancement. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Kotlin, Scala, Java, C#. - Ability to perform deep research & make decisions on complex projects. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details to stakeholders at all levels. - Expertise in Back End with understanding of challenges and trade-offs in the entire engineering universe, from Front End/ Mobile to Data Analytics. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
