Linux System Administrator

As a System Administrator / Senior System Administrator, your role involves providing 24/7 hosting and infrastructure support for Magento eCommerce environments to ensure high availability, security, performance, and operational stability. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor infrastructure using Zabbix and AWS CloudWatch. - Respond to incidents round the clock and document root cause analysis (RCA). - Manage Debian Linux, NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, Route53, Auto Scaling). - Implement security measures such as firewall configuration, access control, and SSL management. - Perform backup & disaster recovery tasks including automated backups, verification, and restore testing. - Conduct infrastructure-level performance monitoring and optimization. - Scale and provision for Single Server, Multi-Server, and Auto-Scaling environments. Required Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in web hosting environments. - Strong command over Linux (Debian), NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch. - Expertise in AWS services. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix and CloudWatch. - Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and server optimization. - Ability to troubleshoot based on SLA requirements. - Effective communication skills. Education & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field. - 1 to 5 years of experience in managing infrastructure for eCommerce environments.
