About the role
As a Network Admin at TCS, your role will involve providing second-line support for network-related issues. You will troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Routing and Switching, Palo Alto, Check Point, and Citrix NetScaler. Additionally, you will manage escalations from the L1 team, ensuring timely resolution within SLA. Routine maintenance, updates on network devices, configuration and support of daily tasks, and basic firewall rules will also be part of your responsibilities. Documenting network issues, solutions, and changes, as well as coordinating with vendors or ISPs when necessary, will be crucial. Experience with Cisco ASA and Aruba Wireless Network will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Provide second-line support for network-related issues - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving Routing and Switching, Palo Alto, Check Point, Citrix NetScaler - Manage escalations from the L1 team and resolve them within SLA - Perform routine maintenance and updates on network devices - Configure and support daily tasks and basic firewall rules - Document network issues, solutions, and changes - Coordinate with vendors or ISPs when required - Experience with Cisco ASA and Aruba Wireless Network Qualifications Required: - 4-7 years of experience in network administration - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Good understanding of ITIL based Service Management processes - Willingness to work in shifts or on-call rotation --- As an L3 Support Engineer at TCS, you will act as a subject matter expert for complex network troubleshooting and optimization. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level LAN/WAN environments. Managing and securing firewalls such as Palo Alto and Check Point, handling high-severity incidents, and documenting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) will be part of your role. Leading major upgrades, migrations, and network architecture changes, providing mentorship to L2 engineers, and conducting risk assessments and capacity planning are also key responsibilities.
