Network Monitoring Administrator

You will be responsible for monitoring network performance, availability, and capacity using standard monitoring tools. In addition, you will perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for network issues. It will be your duty to ensure network uptime and adherence to SLAs. You will also be required to perform standard changes, patching, firmware upgrades, and configuration backups. Implementing approved network designs and changes as per architecture standards will also fall under your purview. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting network security controls such as VPN user and site-to-site configurations - Implementing network segmentation and access controls - Ensuring compliance with enterprise security policies and operational standards - Monitoring and documenting network activities - Maintaining network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories - Collaborating with Network Architects and Senior Engineers on complex issues - Experience supporting WAN, Internet, and VPN connectivity Qualifications required for this role: - Total experience of 5+ years in network data administration - Proficiency in using standard monitoring tools - Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of network security controls and compliance standards - Experience with WAN, Internet, and VPN connectivity Please note that the above responsibilities and qualifications are for a Network Data Admin role at TCS Magnum Block, Chennai.
