About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior PEO Consultant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to gather and understand existing requirements, design solutions, manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices through thought leadership, judgment, and project management skills. A strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes for complex assemblies, master data governance, hands-on configuration experience, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of SAP PEO, including hands-on configuration and deployment of functionalities like Engineering Change Management (ECM). - Ensure seamless integration between PEO and other SAP modules, such as Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and shop floor systems. - Focus on core PEO tasks, including the conversion of Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) to Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM). - Work with cross-functional teams, including business users, engineers, and other SAP functional consultants, to define requirements and provide solutions. - Act as the subject matter expert on SAP S/4HANA PEO engineering change management and manufacturing execution system (MES) features and functionalities. - Assist with troubleshooting, Train-the-Trainer user training, and development and testing phases of the project. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation. - Hands-on configuration experience with the SAP PEO module, including BOM handling, EBOM-to-MBOM handover using Visual Enterprise Manufacturing Planner (VEMP), shop floor routings, and production models. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, digital thread concepts, and PLM integration. - Familiarity with integrating engineering systems (PLM, PDM) with SAP ERP. - Working knowledge of related SAP modules like Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). - Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Change Impact Analysis. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
