Senior React Native Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a Senior React Native Engineer at BoomerangFX, a fast-growing healthcare technology company. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and scale mobile applications for aesthetic and medical clinics, ensuring engineering quality, security, and reliability are top priorities. You will play a crucial role in owning significant feature areas, setting technical standards, and working closely with backend, design, and product teams to deliver production-ready features for real clinics and their patients. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build cross-platform features in React Native + Expo using TypeScript, from technical design to release and monitoring. - Translate Figma designs and business requirements into clean, reusable UI with smooth animations and strong accessibility. - Integrate with existing REST APIs, utilizing TanStack Query and Redux Toolkit for server and app state management. - Implement secure mobile patterns for sensitive data, including credential storage, biometric login, and session handling. - Build resilient experiences with error handling, loading states, and offline capabilities. - Own the release pipeline and contribute to CI/CD for mobile development. - Establish and enforce engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a shared component library. - Collaborate with backend engineers and product/design teams to shape API contracts and features. - Diagnose and resolve performance, memory, and stability issues across iOS and Android platforms. Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of professional mobile development experience, with 3+ years building React Native apps for the App Store and Google Play. - Strong TypeScript skills and modern React knowledge. - Proficiency in Redux Toolkit, React Navigation, and REST API integration. - Understanding of mobile security fundamentals and release processes. - Experience in testing, debugging, and writing maintainable code. - Strong communication skills and ability to take ownership of features.
