Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Application Engineer(Power Quality)based in Kolkata. The Field Application Engineer will support customers in deploying and optimizing power quality and backup solutions using products like SVG, AHF, APFCs etc including UPS systems, battery chargers, stabilizers, and related products. Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, reviewing technical requirements, recommending suitable configurations, and assisting with installation, commissioning, and system integration. The role involves troubleshooting power quality issues on customer sites, performing root cause analysis, and providing timely technical support and services. The engineer will also prepare technical documentation, application notes, and reports, conduct product demonstrations and training for customers, and collaborate closely with sales, design, and service teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction. Qualifications - Strong foundation in power electronics with understanding of AC/DC systems, power quality issues, and industrial power distributionwith strong electrical fundamentals - Hands-on experience (or strong internship/project work) in power distribution ayatems including power quality issues - Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications. - Proficiency in on-site testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems using standard test instruments. - Comfortable working in industrial environments and visiting customer sites regularly. - Clear and professional communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Robust customer-service mindset, with the ability to manage expectations, handle escalations, and maintain long-term relationships. - Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Electronics, or a closely related field. - Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain accurate service and project documentation. - Familiarity with safety standards, best practices for working on live Company Description LiveLine Electronics specializes in 24x7 AC and DC power electronic backup and protection systems that support uninterrupted and reliable business operations.
